Experts who are clinicians and featured in major publications and media
Flexibility included and scientifically driven education.
Monthly, live case consultations and Grand Rounds to participate in.
Our founders and participating clinicians are thought leaders in the area of cannabis-based medications and the endocannabinoid system. Hailing from several clinical disciplines, TCI's clinicians provide education that is focused on multidisciplinary approaches and clinical guidance.
Recognizing that cannabis is not the panacea, we work to provide our students with skills to recognize and mitigate potential negative results of cannabis use. We teach skills that incorporate issues around regulation, harm reduction, and best practices.
Our educational approach is patient-centered and based on research conducted by our founder, Dr. Jan Roberts, LCSW who teaches and has conducted research at NYU. Our educators are practicing clinicians who understand the importance of patient centered-approaches. They have been mentioned in major news publications such as Good Housekeeping, Prevention Magazine, CBS, The Rachel Ray Show, Dr Oz, and the Journal of Endocannabinoid Medicine.
Depending on your needs, you can attend Live trainings or self-paced web-based instruction. Our content has been used globally to train physicians and other healthcare providers. We provide individual courses with CME/CE as well as more in depth advanced educational content through our certification programs.
The bottom line is that TCI allows content to be easily accessible and allows the flexibility that all clinicians need.
For those seeking a deeper understanding of the ECS and cannabis-based medicine, we offer Certification Programs that offer CME and CE credits but include monthly Grand Rounds. Our Grand Rounds feature clinicians of all levels- physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and mental health practitioners- to be able to understand dosing recommendations, drug-drug interactions, evidence-based harm reduction strategies, and how to help patients use medical cannabis in the most helpful way possible.
Our LIVE Grand Rounds are global in scope and provide real time case consultation, a valuable resource for any clinician concerned about proper cannabis design guidelines, product impact, and increasing patient outcomes and success in treatment.
This service is available to our participants in TCI's certificate programs.
In addition to English, TCI provides Spanish translation services in our live events as well as Spanish language web-based classes and training. Our global commitment is something we're proud of, and offering Spanish and English content is vital.
Check back often as we are adding additional language resources in the future. Or if you have a special language request, reach out to us and we will do our best to accomodate.
Our tier 1 ACCME credit can be used internationally by physicians. Our educators are from all over the globe and we value a global perspective regarding clinical education.
Having a global team and providing outreach to our global partners allows TCI to transmit its expertise to clinicians across the globe. This international exchange is vibrant and encourages a global scope for cannabis knowledge base. We have taught physicians and other healthcare providers with great success from Asia to South America, Europe and North America.
Inclusion and diversity is a hallmark of the future, as a female-led company TCI works to provide a holistic approach in its educational products. By building teams and working with universities from across the world, TCI is able to provide a unique perspective that often overlooks disenfranchised populations such as people of color, women, LGBTQ members, and people not historically included. Our purpose is to provide a framework where inclusion is created globally.
